Jackson Heights, NY — In a major show of momentum for a growing, worker-powered campaign, the New York City District Council of Carpenters today announced its endorsement of Assembly Member Jessica González-Rojas in her Democratic primary campaign for State Senate in District 13. The endorsement underscores González-Rojas’ deep commitment to working families across Jackson Heights, Corona, and East Elmhurst and reflects a clear call for bold, results-driven leadership in Albany.

The NYC District Council of Carpenters represents tens of thousands of skilled tradespeople across the five boroughs and is a leading voice for fair wages, strong labor standards, and equitable economic development. Their endorsement signals growing labor support behind González-Rojas’ campaign and her vision for an economy that works for everyone, not just the well-connected.
